After talking with the applicant for the annexation and rezoning at Hwy. 78 and Rosebud Road this afternoon, I have more questions than answers regarding the proposed church for the southernmost 25 acres of the 46-acre tract.

The proposal to build a shopping center and office park on 40 acres at Hwy. 78 and Rosebud Road has re-emerged, but in a slightly different configuration from the plan that dropped off the City Council agenda a couple of months ago. And now we may know why.

A groundbreaking ceremony for our new fire station was held today at 3725 Rosebud Road. Speaking at the event was Gwinnett Fire Chief Steve Rolader, BoC Chairman Charles Bannister and District 3 Commissioner Mike Beaudreau.
