The Snellville City Council voted unanimously last night to reject the application to annex approximately three acres at the corner of Rosebud Road and Brushy Fork Road. Because the annexation failed, the proposal to build a 12,500 square foot daycare center to house 230 students could not continue.

The December Gwinnett Planning Commission preliminary agenda contains two development proposals in the area; both are on Midway Drive at Lake Carlton Drive and by the same owner/applicant.
