Reminder: Hearing on gas station tomorrow night
The Planning Commission hearing on the proposal to build a gas station and convenience store at Rosebud Road and Old Loganville Road is scheduled for Tuesday evening, 7 pm, at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center in Lawrenceville. Your attendance at this hearing will notify the Planning Commission that we care about our community and expect them to honor the planning staff’s recommendation of denial.
Your coordinator for tomorrow’s meeting is Allen Richards, patallenginger@aol.com or 678-773-5755.
Now is a good time to send the Planning Commission a short reminder of your position on this proposal. Â Send a single email to plancomm@aboutgwinnett.com and it will be automatically redirected to every Planning Commission member at once.
The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be one of the factors that the County Commission will consider in a final hearing one week later, on July 24, at the same location and time. Â We will remind you to contact the County Commission in the coming week.

Bob - Can you let us know what we need to do regarding this issue?? I am planning on attending the next meeting on the 24th - what can I expect to happen and/or should expect to say/do to help deny this proposal??
Please reply!
Given the Planning Commission’s recommendation, it will not be necessary to attend the BoC meeting next week. See the 7/19 post at this web site.
