Beaudreau Seeks Re-election

This note is from our District 3 Commissioner, Mike Beaudreau:

Hello Everyone,

This week, I qualified with the Gwinnett Republican Party to run for a second term as your County Commissioner in District 3.  At least one other candidate well known in development circles has also qualified, so the Republican nominee will be selected in the July 15th primary election.  Over the next three months, I plan to aggressively campaign to hold my seat by continuing to meet with voters and explaining my goals for a second term.  These include:

  • Continuing to expand and improve public safety services in the county, including police, fire, and quality of life.
  • Controlling the county’s growth rate, in order to make sure that the county has the capacity to provide services to residents, and that new development takes into account the character of our neighborhoods.
  • Solving traffic problems by adding to our infrastructure, including more roads, better signal timing and intelligent traffic management systems.
  • Working to expand and improve the parks and recreational facilities offered by the county, especially in the older areas of District 3.
  • Making every effort to reduce taxes by controlling government spending.

Your support of my reelection effort is very important to me.  You can help by putting up a yard sign, telling your neighbors about what I’ve done to improve the quality of life in District 3, hosting a neighborhood coffee or distributing literature.  If you already have a yard sign, go ahead and put it back up. It’s not too early to start getting the word out!

If you can help, either reply to this email, or use the volunteer form on my website to sign up:

This weekend, I’ll be in the Snellville Days Parade, and then at the Gwinnett GOP Booth at Briscoe Park.  If you have time, I encourage you to come out to show your support and say hello.  I’ll have some yard signs and other campaign material you can take with you.

Thanks again for your support in the past, and I look forward to serving as your commissioner for a second term.

PS:  In my first campaign, I refused to take financial contributions from Developers, and I am not going to accept Developer funding for my reelection.  That means I need your help to let residents know about my record and my plans for a second term.  Please consider making a financial contribution using PayPal:
