Upcoming Development Issues

The December Gwinnett Planning Commission preliminary agenda contains two development proposals in the area; both are on Midway Drive at Lake Carlton Drive and by the same owner/applicant. John Hall proposes to build 57 single-family units at R-60, one of the highest single-family densities available, on 17 acres. (Case #s: RZR-07-043 & 044)

Danny Herrmann of Diversified Development has applied for a Change In Conditions on two commercial rezonings approved earlier this year on Midway Drive at Palmer Drive and Lake Carlton Road. Herrmann hopes to reduce a buffer that made the construction of certain buildings impractical. The cases are on the January 2008 Planning Commission agenda. (Case #s: CIC-2008-00001 & 00002)
