All Quiet in Rosebud; New Opportunities

Things have been relatively quiet in the Rosebud community on several fronts. There has been very little to report in the “growth & development” arena; in large part because of the slow economy but also because of the attention that has been extended to this area by our county commissioner, Mike Beaudreau

As a result, things have been very quiet here at RosebudGA.com.  That’s why now is a great time for you to join us in a project to benefit the Rosebud community.

We are expanding the site to include features such as a local business directory, a coupon/discount directory, a community recycle (swap) list and more. Not only can you help to build a great resource for our area but you might be able to make a little “walking money” at the same time!

We are looking for the following folks:

• Neighborhood/subdivision reporters — be your HoA’s “staff writer” to publish neighborhood news and events;
• Business Directory Builder / Ad sales — Build the local business directory and sell advertising for the site. This is a 100% commission position, but it’s the best commission job you can get… because you get 100% of the commission! (The only paying job of the bunch…)
• Discount Scavenger –  Encourage local merchants to provide “Rosebud-only” discounts;
• Swap List Moderator — Manage the site’s recycle list (some computer skills required, like knowing how to send an email!)

Rosebud Coalition in the News

Our organization received some press coverage last week following the denial of the proposal to annex and build a large daycare center at the corner of Rosebud Road and Brushy Fork Road. You can read Brian Arrington’s article in The Walton Tribune here.
